About the Course
Learn about the new Middle School Science Collection for PBS LearningMedia! GBH's latest collection is designed to meet the urgent need for high‑quality, media‑rich science resources for grades 6–8 across the country.
This webinar will introduce stations to the project’s goals, structure, and opportunities for collaboration. Building on the proven success of collections like Bringing the Universe to America’s Classrooms, the U.S. History Collection, and the Civics Collection, this new initiative uses interactive digital media, standards‑aligned content, and teacher‑friendly organization to support effective instruction and deepen student learning.
In this webinar, GBH will introduce a call for proposals to award funding to selected stations to promote the collection in their community, engage with local educators, and expand community impact. Join us to learn about this collection, how stations can participate, and how it will amplify the visibility and value of public media in science classrooms nationwide.
